In the Coaches Association Regional Poll released January 31, 2007, the Lady Broncos moved up two positions. They are currently ranked 8th in the South Atlantic Region. They carry an overall 13-6 record and 9-3 in CIAA action.

Other CIAA schools ranked in the region are Elizabeth City State University (2nd) and North Carolina Central University (5th). This is the second week for the coaches' poll.
