Fayetteville State University junior forward Tenisha McArthur has been voted as the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Player of the Week for the week ending January 28, 2007.

McArthur, a 6-0, native of Red Springs, North Carolina average 20.3 points per-game, 28 rebounds (a double-double 21 points, 12 rebounds), 11 steals and 6 blocks during her three-game week. Her best performance was against Livingstone College where she scored 26 points, grabbed seven rebounds and five steals. Her double-double was against Saint Paul's College.
