Fayetteville State University's Lady Broncos had a collective effort from their starters and were victorious over St. Paul's College 95-86, inside Capel Arena Tuesday night.

All five of the FSU starters had double figures in points, led senior Rebecca Charles. Charles scored 21 points and contributed 7 rebounds. Teammate Shacovia Sheppard pulled down 12 rebounds, along with 19 points giving her a double-double for the night.

St. Paul's was led by guard Katrina Wright; Wright was the leading scorer and rebounder for the Lady Tigers throughout the night. Wright finished the game with 22 points and 15 rebounds.

Going into halftime St. Paul's led 45-42, but in the second half FSU battled back by causing turnovers. St. Paul's committed 46 turnovers for the game (23 turnovers each half). Jamara McMillan's ball handling and her ability to find open teammates led the FSU's offensive surge in the second half.

With the win FSU improves to 10-5 overall and 6-2 in the CIAA. St. Paul's falls to 4-9 overall and 1-5 in the CIAA.
