Andy Gebru scored a career and season high 29 points, his seventh 20 plus game, as the Broncos disposed of hometown University of Tampa 75-67. Both teams played even over the first half with UT taking the lead at 1:06, outscoring the Broncos 5-2 to take a 41-38 halftime advantage. The Broncos took command at 9:13 on Gebru free throw in the second half. The Broncos shot 50 percent from the floor (28-56) with Gebru hitting 11-of-15 from the floor and 5-of-6 from the three point arc. The game was tied 10-times before the Broncos were able to take advantage of the turnovers, scoring 26 points off the miscues. Contributing to the Broncos scoring was Jamel Austin with 14 points. The win upped FSU to 5-4 for the season.
