Eckerd College (ranked 25th) shot a blistering 60 percent fro the floor in the second half to outlast Fayetteville State University 75-63 as they extended their overall record to 10-1. The loss dropped the Broncos to 4-4 for the season. Four Tritons scored in double figures, with Josh King and Craig Hazel pacing the the scorers with 13 point. Joining the two were Andre Holland with 12 and Matt Cenatus with 11. It was all Eckerd out of the halftime break and put the game in their control with a 12-0 run over the course of four minutes. Sophomore guard Andy Gebru had a game high 22 points including four 3-pointers. Gebru 20 plus points was his sixth in eight game for the season.
