Latisha Terrell is an enthusiastic and resourceful educator with a strong background in middle grades education. She holds a Master's degree in Middle Grades Education from Fayetteville State University, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Middle Grades Math from the same institution.
With over a decade of teaching experience, Latisha has demonstrated her innovative approach to education as a math teacher for 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. Her dedication to student success led her to take on the role of Academically/Intellectually Gifted (AIG) Consultant, where she created tailored lesson plans and advocated for all students in the academically gifted program.
Latisha's leadership in education extends beyond the classroom, as evidenced by her involvement in various leadership roles such as Testing Coordinator, Honors Club Advisor, and Secretary of the School Improvement Team.
In addition to her educational pursuits, Latisha has a strong background in cheerleading, having been a cheerleader at Fayetteville State University from 2010 to 2014, and later serving as an assistant coach. Her leadership skills and dedication to mentorship were recognized when she was appointed as the captain of the cheerleading team in 2013-2014.
With a strong passion for student advocacy, innovative teaching methods, and a proven track record of building trusting relationships, Latisha Terrell continues to make a positive impact on the educational community.
