Bio:
Jayla Williams is a sophomore sprinter for the Fayetteville State University Track and Field team. A native of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and graduate of Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy, Jayla brings explosive speed and a competitive edge to the Broncos’ sprint squad. She was named Academic Athlete of the Year in high school and continues to excel both on the track and in the classroom.

Jayla is majoring in Business Administration and plans to start her own business after graduation. Known for her observant nature and self-motivation, she considers herself her greatest inspiration—believing in her ability to grow, overcome challenges, and achieve her goals. Her favorite experience at FSU has been being part of the track team, where she continues to develop as a student-athlete and leader.

Jayla has consistently contributed to FSU’s sprint relays and has posted strong individual performances in the 100m and 200m across multiple seasons.
