Biography
Holley Johnson is a versatile senior on the Fayetteville State University Track and Field team, competing in jumps, sprints, hurdles, and multi-events. A Fayetteville native and graduate of E.E. Smith High School, Johnson has made her mark both academically and athletically. She earned the Highest Team GPA Award during the 2022–2023 season and played a key role in FSU’s sweep of the CIAA Indoor and Outdoor Championships that same year.
Johnson’s career bests include 27.48 in the 200m, 1:01.31 in the 400m, 1:12.35 in the 400m hurdles, and 5.74m (18' 10") in the long jump. She also competes in the pentathlon, with a personal best of 2411 points. Her standout performances include a 1st-place finish in the long jump at the 2025 Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational and multiple top-10 finishes in long jump throughout the 2024–2025 season.
Off the track, Holley is passionate about cooking and plans to pursue a career in pharmacy. She draws inspiration from her faith, crediting God as her motivation to give her all in every competition.
