Biography
Diamond Spencer is a sophomore hurdler for the Fayetteville State University Track and Field team. A native of Pantego, North Carolina, and graduate of Panther Creek High School, Diamond is majoring in Psychology with aspirations of becoming a therapist for children. Her passion for helping others is rooted in her own life experiences, and she is driven by a desire to be the support system she once needed.
As the youngest girl of six siblings, Diamond has developed a strong sense of independence and resilience. She draws inspiration from her peers and elders, whose hard work motivates her to pursue her goals with determination. She also considers herself her own greatest motivation, using her upbringing as fuel to uplift others.
Her favorite experience at FSU so far has been Homecoming, where she felt a deep connection to the Bronco community.
