Fayetteville State University Athletics

Brenda Cheboi is a senior nursing major from Eldoret, Kenya, competing in both track & field and cross country. A graduate of Nasokol Secondary School, Brenda transferred to FSU from Dordt University to pursue her academic and athletic goals. She has made her mark in collegiate competition with standout performances, including a 1st-place finish in the 800m, and 3rd-place finishes in both the 1500m and 3000m events in 2025. She was also honored with the Player’s Choice Award in Cross Country, recognizing her dedication and impact on the team.

Brenda chose FSU for its exceptional career support and the opportunity to pursue nursing while continuing her athletic journey. Her long-term goal is to pursue higher education and continue growing both professionally and personally. She credits her parents as the most influential figures in her life, providing unwavering support throughout her journey.
