A versatile athlete with strong body control and natural explosiveness, Scott capped her high-school career as an All-Conference selection and achieved a signature highlight by winning first place in the long jump at regionals during her junior season. In addition to track and field, she also competed on the cheerleading team, showcasing her athletic range and dynamic power.
Known for her commitment in the classroom as well, Scott was an A/B Honor Roll student, reflecting the academic discipline she now brings into her Pre-Nursing major at Fayetteville State. Her long-term goal is to become a pediatric nurse, driven by a passion for helping children and serving her community.
Scott describes her mother as the most influential person in her life, inspired by her work ethic and unwavering belief that anything can be achieved through determination. Off the track, she enjoys crossword puzzles and brings a unique hidden talent—she can perform a toe touch with ease, a skill that highlights the flexibility and athleticism she brings to the jumps runway. She has also volunteered in FSU’s Matriculation Program, embracing opportunities to give back and stay connected to her community.
Scott chose Fayetteville State because of its family-oriented environment, a place where she felt she could grow both academically and athletically.
