Biography
Romeo Kipkosgei is a freshman distance runner for the Fayetteville State University men’s cross country team, bringing determination, focus, and international experience to the Broncos. Originally from Eldoret, Kenya, Kipkosgei graduated from Chebara Boys High School and began his collegiate journey at North Carolina Wesleyan University before transferring to FSU.
Though early in his collegiate career, Kipkosgei is driven by a strong academic and athletic foundation. He is majoring in Nursing and aspires to become a nurse, inspired by his mother’s resilience and success against all odds.
Outside of running, Kipkosgei enjoys swimming and values the discipline and balance that sports bring to his life. He chose Fayetteville State for its high standards in both academics and athletics, especially the university’s renowned nursing program and competitive cross country team.
