A native of Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina, Scales graduated from Fuquay-Varina High School in 2023 and has become a key contributor to the Broncos program through her athletic performance, leadership, and commitment to team success.

During her collegiate career, Scales has earned several notable honors, including being named the Fayetteville State Cheerleading MVP for the 2023-24 season and earning All-CIAA Cheerleader recognition during the 2025-26 season. She also serves as the team's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) Representative for the 2026-27 academic year, demonstrating her commitment to leadership and student-athlete advocacy.

A Psychology major, Scales plans to pursue a career working with children after graduation. Her long-term goal is to become a child psychologist, combining her passion for helping others with her interest in understanding human behavior and development.

Scales credits her coach as her biggest athletic influence, citing her constant encouragement and motivation throughout her cheerleading journey. Away from athletics, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, who have remained a strong source of support throughout her academic and athletic career.

She chose Fayetteville State because it immediately felt like home and because of the close-knit bond she found within the cheerleading program. Scales believes the university lives up to its "Family State" reputation, creating a welcoming environment where student-athletes can thrive both personally and academically.

As a senior leader on the squad, Scales continues to represent the Broncos with positivity, determination, and school pride while helping inspire the next generation of Fayetteville State cheerleaders.
