Fayetteville State University Athletics

Rainy Neal serves as a student athletic trainer for Fayetteville State University, bringing dedication, experience, and a passion for athlete care to Bronco Athletics. Originally from Enid, Oklahoma, Neal began her journey in sports medicine as a student athletic trainer in high school, gaining three years of hands-on experience before continuing her education at FSU.

Now a senior majoring in Sports and Fitness Management with a minor in Pre-Athletic Training, Neal plans to pursue graduate studies in athletic training and eventually attend physical therapy school. She is known for her attention to detail and her commitment to helping athletes stay healthy and perform at their best.

Neal credits her aunt as the most influential person in her life, inspired by her drive to continue learning and growing even when retirement was an option. Rainy chose Fayetteville State for its welcoming environment and the sense of connection it offered while being away from home.

Outside of her academic and athletic training responsibilities, Neal enjoys binge-reading book series and exploring new food spots. Her community service includes weekend activities with her aunt, such as food drives and donation events—further reflecting her heart for service and support.
