Fayetteville State University Athletics

Jacari Terry serves as a student athletic trainer for Fayetteville State University, bringing a passion for sports and a commitment to athlete wellness. Originally from Raleigh, North Carolina, Terry is a graduate of Wakefield High School, where he competed in football and track and field. He transferred to FSU from Louisburg College and is currently completing his degree in Sports Management.

Terry’s goal is to become an athletic or personal trainer at the collegiate or professional level, driven by a deep love for the game and a desire to help athletes reach their full potential. He credits his mother, Krystie Terry, as the most influential person in his life, inspiring him to grow into a better man every day. His favorite sports memory is scoring his first touchdown—a moment that fueled his passion for athletics.

Jacari chose Fayetteville State for its proximity to home and the strong sense of community, including the support of friends already on campus. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and playing video games.
