Fayetteville, NC – The Fayetteville State University Department of Athletics announces a new partnership with The McAdoo Group through the end of the 2024-25 athletics season.
The McAdoo Group manages financial planning and accounting practices for businesses with more than a million dollars in revenue. The Group monitors costs while working to optimize all revenue sources and minimize risks, analyze tax returns and statements to provide fiscal management solutions.
Tremain McAdoo, a former Bronco basketball standout and 2004 Fayetteville State alum, is the creator and Chief Financial Officer. He retired from the banking industry after 16 years to become a business coach and consultant for multimillion-dollar companies.
"I played basketball under [former coach] Sam Hanger from 2002 through 2004," said McAdoo. "I have given back a few funds here and there through the years and became a member of the 1000 Broncos. After speaking with Mr. Mike King, I decided it was time to go ahead and promote my business through athletics while giving back."
After operating through word-of-mouth and relationships over the past year, under the terms of the multi-year relationship, The McAdoo Group will have an increased presence at FSU home athletic events, including football, basketball, and volleyball home contests, as well as during live video streams on the FSU Broncos Sports Network.
"As a fellow Fayetteville State alum, it makes me proud to see former student-athletes find success after graduation and return to support as donors and partners," said Director of Athletics Todd Bennett.
