The Broncos women's bowling team finished 12th overall at the AMF Towson Lanes in the James Brown Bowling Invitational hosted by Morgan State University.
Fayetteville State joined fifteen teams to include six National Tenpin Coaches Association nationally ranked teams for the JBB Invitational with host, #16 Morgan State, #4 North Carolina A&T, #9 Mount Saint Marys, #12 Duquesne, #14 Delaware State, #18 University of Maryland Eastern Shore, Alabama A&M, Chestnut Hill College, Coppin State, Felician University, Kutztown University, Mount Aloysius, Saint Francis-Pennsylvania, Saint Francis-Brooklyn, and Virginia State University.

Denise Brown was slotted the #33 individual tournament rank. Over the weekend she posted a 215 game high versus Chestnut Hill College dropping a total of 915 pins bowling an average of 183.

Donna Kerechanin led the offensive charge, cleaning 182 pins, 18 shy of the 200 pin mark.
