Fayetteville State University Enacts No Spectator Protocol for Basketball Events until Further Notice

Fayetteville, NC – Fayetteville State University Athletics has announced that there will be a new "No Fan/Spectator" protocol for its men's and women's basketball games in the Felton J. Capel Arena until further notice.

Student-athlete and campus safety is the main concern and reason for the temporary protocol. The University is committed to implementing and maintaining a range of measures to help promote health and well-being among students, employees, and campus visitors and to help reduce risk from potential exposure and spread of COVID-19.

Only essential personnel will be permitted in Capel Arena which includes participating team members, coaches, officials, athletic trainers, scorer's table personnel and administrative staff.

Fans and spectators can watch games live on the FSU Broncos Sports Network or follow score updates on Twitter (@FSUBroncos) and Instagram (@fsu_broncos). Live stats will be available on www.fsubroncos.com. Game-related notifications will also be sent via Athletics' mobile app for Android and iOS devices.  FSU games can be watched via the CIAA Sports Network App on smart devices, Roku, and Amazon Fire TV.

Updates on future attendance policies will be posted on fsubroncos.com as well as social media platforms.
