BALTIMORE, MD - The Fayetteville State bowling team finished 13th at last week's 7th annual Morgan State Invitational.
FSU knocked over 4,063 total pins in 7.4 games, for an average of 817 per game.
Akira Turner was the highest Bronco finishing in 36th place. Turner averaged 171.2 and bowled a 212 in her final game. Jessica Styers, the reigning CIAA Western Division Bowler of the Month, was 44th with a 166.8 average.
Clarisee Bible finished 75th, Jessica Collins 105th, Jamie Donnelly 127th, Kelly Wakerhauser 135th and Kara Reid 141st.
Nearly 170 bowlers participated in the event, including student-athletes from Division I schools like Nebraska, Norfolk State, Delaware State and Florida A&M.
The Broncos will host a CIAA Western Division Match starting on Friday at B&B Bowling Center in Fayetteville.
