Felton J. Capel Arena

The Felton J. Capel Arena was completed in 1995 and is known as one of the best in the NCAA's Division II. It is named after a Fayetteville State University Board of Trustee Member.

The Health, Physical Education and Recreation Building also boasts an indoor walking track, an aerobics studio, racquetball courts, outdoor tennis courts, weight rooms and the athletic department's athletic training facility.

 
In addition to serving as the home floor for the Broncos' men's and women's basketball teams, Capel Arena also has hosted graduations, concerts, step shows and probates. The arena also hosts the annual Athletics Banquet.
